Sweet Pork Chops 4 bone-ine pork chops 2 TBL Brown Sugar 2 TBL Soy Sauce 2 TBL Dijon Mustard 1 TBL Worcestershire Sauce 2 tsp Minced Garlic 1 TBL Olive Oil 1. Season the Pork Chops Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the pork chops to taste. Let them sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes while you prepare the other ingredients. 2. Sear the Pork Chops In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the oil and heat until shimmering and hot. Place the pork chops in the skillet in a single layer (work in batches if needed) and cook for 4 to 5 minutes on each side until they’re golden brown and have a nice crust. Transfer the seared chops to a plate and set aside. 3. Prepare the Brown Sugar Glaze Using the same skillet (don’t wipe it clean—those browned bits are full of flavor!), add the brown sugar, chicken broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and minced garlic. Stir to combine, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Let the mixture simmer for about 2 to 3 minutes until it begins to thicken slightly. Add paprika if desired for extra depth and color. 4. Glaze the Pork Chops Return the pork chops to the skillet, turning them to coat with the glaze. Reduce the heat to medium-low, cover the skillet, and cook for another 5 to 10 minutes, or until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) and the glaze is nicely caramelized around the edges. 5. Serve Spoon any remaining glaze from the skillet over the pork chops when serving. These go wonderfully with sides like rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted veggies.
